Strategic Partnerships & Collaborations

The Claremont Amany Institute works with academic institutions, healthcare systems, research organizations, and public sector partners to advance cancer research infrastructure across Africa.

These collaborations support the development of high-quality clinical datasets, biospecimen resources, and translational research programs designed to improve cancer care and scientific discovery.

Implementation Partner

IVAN Research Institute

IVAN Research Institute serves as an implementation partner to the Claremont Amany Institute, supporting the operational execution of CAI’s research programs across clinical and laboratory settings. Through collaboration with hospitals, research centers, and healthcare professionals, IVAN Research Institute facilitates patient engagement, clinical data collection, and biospecimen acquisition necessary for CAI’s biobanking and translational research initiatives. By enabling on-the-ground program implementation, the institute plays an important role in advancing the infrastructure needed to support high-quality cancer research across Africa.

Similar to hard science fields like physics, if you’re studious enough to examine business history, you may be able to stand on the shoulders of great minds who came before you.

Government Collaboration

National Cancer Control Program (NCCP)
Federal Ministry of Health and Social Welfare

The Claremont Amany Institute collaborates with Nigeria’s National Cancer Control Program (NCCP) to support national efforts aimed at strengthening cancer research, surveillance, and data infrastructure.

Through this collaboration, CAI contributes to initiatives that improve the collection and standardization of clinical and epidemiological data, expand research capacity, and enhance understanding of cancer patterns within the population. Aligning research initiatives with national cancer control priorities helps ensure that scientific insights inform policies and programs that improve cancer prevention, diagnosis, and care across Nigeria.

Translational Innovation Partner

SkyGen Biosciences

Sky Biosciences is the commercial translational arm of the Claremont Amany Institute. It exists to transform discoveries emerging from CAI’s research programs—including clinical data platforms, biobanking initiatives, and genomic research—into scalable solutions that advance precision medicine.

By partnering with academic institutions, biotechnology companies, and healthcare systems, Sky Biosciences helps translate African-led scientific discovery into real-world diagnostics, therapies, and data-driven innovations that improve cancer care globally.
